Journal of Simulation Engineering: Announcements https://jsime.org/index.php/jsimeng
The peer-reviewed and peer-published Journal of Simulation Engineering (JSimE) is dedicated to the accessible dissemination of research activity in the broad area of simulation engineering to the global modeling and simulation community by providing True Open Access.

True Open Access means that the journal is not only accessible to readers, but also to authors who do not have to pay excessive publication charges. It also means that research results are not just reported in PDF files with limited interactivity and accessibility, but are available in the more accessible HTML format , which allows improved text retrieval, analysis and indexing, in-document linking, semantic annotations, multi-media contents and interactivity.

The focus of the journal is on concepts, theories and techniques for the design, implementation and validation of simulations, simulators and simulation frameworks, including requirements analysis, modeling languages, model engineering, user interface design and development methodologies (like agile or model-driven).
en-US Tue, 06 Sep 2022 06:34:10 -0700 OJS 3.3.0.8 http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/tech/rss 60 Special Section: Special Session of Extended papers - 1st International Workshop on Digital Twin Engineering https://jsime.org/index.php/jsimeng/announcement/view/1
Objectives

The workshop aims at addressing the current needs and demands from industry and economy towards a long-term vision by focusing on

the design of collaboration platforms for enabling the joint engineering and maintenance of virtual replicas of cyber-physical assets

the integration of system modelling, AI, and simulation as central building blocks for digital twins

the long-term maintenance and life cycle management of digital twins in symbiosis with their cyber-physical assets

the continuous quality assurance for cyber-physical assets by monitoring, testing and control through digital twins

Find further details at https://dt-engineering.uibk.ac.at/

Important Date

Submission of papers: September 18, 2022

Notification of acceptance: October 3, 2022

Camera-ready version: October 17, 2022

Workshop: November 23, 2022

Extended selected papers will be published in a dedicated JSimE Special Section.
https://jsime.org/index.php/jsimeng/announcement/view/1 Tue, 06 Sep 2022 06:34:10 -0700
